This Nut Milk Bag is a must when making your own nut milk!

The Nut Milk Bag has a tight weave so that none of the nut skins or pulp gets into your milk. It can also be used to strain the pulp from you juice.

How to make Almond Milk

Almond milk is great for cereals, desserts, and savoury-sweet dishes. Almonds are an alkaline nut, and one serving provides ⅓ of your daily dose of vitamin E.

Ingredients

4 cups water     

1 cup almonds, soaked overnight (approx. 12 hours) and rinsed

2 tbsp agave nectar        

1tsp vanilla extract or vanilla seeds scraped from bean

1⁄8 tsp kosher salt          

Add water and soaked almonds to blender jar in order listed and secure lid. Select "Whole Juice" (Blendtec Blender). Strain milk through nut milk bag to remove almond skins and pulp.

Rinse blender jar, place strained almond milk back in jar with remaining ingredients and secure lid. Press "Pulse" 3–5 times to combine thoroughly. Serve or store in refrigerator for up to 3 days.

What to do with the nut pulp:

You can store the dehydrated nut pulp in an airtight jar in a cool dry place and use it as almond meal in other recipes.
